Brent Montgomery, 55, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Columbus, OH. Brent was born on August 4, 1962 in Westerville, OH to Doug and Dolores Montgomery. Brent is preceded in death by his mother Dolores and brother Keith Montgomery. He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Cathy (Fields) Montgomery; father, Doug (Betty) Montgomery; son, Scott Montgomery; daughter, Courtney Montgomery; grandson, Caden Montgomery; brother, Judd (Jackie) Montgomery; sister, Sabrina Oles; aunt, Wendy Estes; uncle, Larry Montgomery; great-uncle, Art (Dee) Bradley. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 10-11am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A memorial service will begin at 11am also at Newcomer NE Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brent 's honor to the American Cancer Society, 5555 Frantz Rd., Columbus, OH 43017 or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suit 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. So sorry for your loss, Cathy.
I know you have been through a lot but he is now free of pain and has a new body with the Lord. I can't say anything that will help or make you feel better but I can tell you that in time, you will be able to breathe again with less pain.
I know you have enjoyed Ben being there for you and will be excited to see Colt. Just trying to find a bright side in something that is so sad.
