Dear Theresa,
I was looking at the Ohio Today Magazine today and saw Brian's name in the memorian. Tom and I are shocked. We remember hanging out with you both at OU and in Michigan, fun times. I'm sorry we lost touch through the years. You and your children are in our thoughts and our prayers. Our deepest condolences. God bless you, Rosylyn (Aragones) and Tom Stenzel

I worked with Brian at Rosa Parks Geriatric Center where we developed a fall prevention clinic for our seniors. He was a pure pleasure to work with, and an excellent physician. I will always remember him fondly (Dr. Bow Tie)

I went to high school with Brian and only have the fondest memories of him and his family. Having just heard this news through a mutual high school friend, his passing saddens me. One of the memories that I have never lost, is sitting with him (and often other friends) in his hot tub. The snow would be falling, and his mother would serve us a bit of champagne and frozen grapes while we chatted away about our family, and friends. Even now as I look back, close my eyes, and think of this time...it becomes a healing moment. I am glad to hear that he continued to heal the world into his adulthood. He will be sadly missed.....

On behalf of the University of Michigan Paging Operators, I give the Yoder family our heartfelt sympathy.
We've had the pleasure of rendering paging service to Dr. Yoder. He was always very warm and friendly with each operator. Dr. Yoder will be missed.

Dr. Yoder trained with us at the University of Michigan Department of Physical Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI (2204-07). As his training director, I was able to see first hand what a caring and intelligent physician he was. He was a great patient advocate, as well. Always up beat.
When he graduated from our program he began teaching and caring for patients at Wayne State University in Detroit. He made a positive impact on physicians and patients alike. The physician trainees at the Wayne program would seek me out at national medical meetings to tell me what a great physician and teacher Brian was.
I and my colleagues are saddened by his passing. My thoughts and prayers are yours during this difficult time.
We will miss the "Bow Tie Doctor".
May peace be yours.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Mr. Yoder
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I have very found memories of trips to the Carolina beach and Smoky Mountains..I can vividly recall Brian playing "Music Box Dancer" during a piano competition...endless hours of practice and drills during wrestling season..regretfully our paths after high school lead us in different directions. Brian will always be in my life. I am very sorry for your loss.
