Bruce Hickman Obituary

HICKMAN Bruce C. Hickman, age 63, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Regency Manor Rehabilitation. He was born on November 25, 1946 to Allan Clair and Marie Osborn Hickman and received the sacrament of infant baptism at West Park Methodist Church, later attending East Linden and McKendree United Methodist Churches. After his graduation from Mifflin High School, class of 1966, Bruce attended Galion Welding School and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 413. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara Jo Stefanek. He is survived by his brother, Gary Hickman; brother-in-law, John Stefanek; nephews, Rick, Mike and Rod Hickman and David Stefanek; nieces, Tina Hickman Smith and Vickie and Jessica Stefanek; life long friend, Tom Shannon, along with several other friends and relatives. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Waverly, Ohio.
