There are those few rare souls who's life is a model many others aspire to ... Souls who do not preach or speak the word of God but who truly live it by example .. Steve is definitely one of those rare souls !

To Lois and to your sons: you have our prayers and deepest condolences. We looked forward to seeing Steve at our Geauga County fair every year and will miss him deeply in years to come. Steve was such a pleasure to be around - a kindred soul, a true man. He was so kind to our sons, Ethan and Aaron, through the years with his patience in teaching them how to show the sheep. The boys treasured the ribbons Steve helped them win and so generously shared with them. We will continue to pray for you in this time of great loss. We are sorry we couldn't be with you today in London. May eternal rest be granted unto Steve by our Lord, Jesus Christ, and may perpetual light shine upon him...Dean, Deb, Ethan, and Aaron Pawlak

Dear Lois, boys and family,

Please accept our sincere condolences. Your family has touched ours over the years and the happy memories will forever be cherished. Our girls thought of Steve as a great uncle. He brought many hours of joy to them in the sheep ring and at the fairs. He was a caring and generous man who made the world and our lives richer. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Blair Family,

Words cannot express how sad our family was to hear of Steve's passing. My son got into 4-H sheep due to helping Steve at the Geauga County Fair over the years. We will miss him and his Montadales sooo much. We will miss the twinkle in his eyes, his insights into people and his willingness to share. God Bless you Steve. Our lives are richer because we knew you.
