Carl Harsh Obituary

HARSH Carl E. Harsh, age 67, of Worthington, died unexpectedly Friday, February 2, 2007 at his home. He was born August 20, 1939 in Richwood to Paul and Grace (Kotterman) Harsh. He spent his youth in Radnor and graduated from Radnor High School in 1957. He was a 1961 graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in agriculture. Carl was employed in the beef industry from 1966-1982 and was the first executive director of the Ohio Beef Marketing Program from 1971-1982. He has worked the last 20 years as an independent insurance agent. A Worthington resident for 35 years, he was a member of the Worthington United Methodist Church and a member of the Radnor Alumni Association. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara; his two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian and Kim of Cincinnati and Christopher of Vallejo, CA; his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Mark Fryer, of Cincinnati; two granddaughters, Ellie And Ashley Fryer; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Ed Evans of Delaware and Wilma and Gene Hansen of Danville, PA. Visitation will be Monday 5-8 p.m. at the ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME, 32 West Winter St., where the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Radnor Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Delaware Co. Diabetes Assoc. Memorial Fund, P.O. I went to school with Carl at Radnor. I was looking forward to seeing him at our 50th class dinner at Radnor School. We had fun in school together.
