Memories and Condolences
for Cathy Havens

Not sure what to say?

July 7, 2009

To Cathy Havens' family members: My sincere condolences to you all. Cathy was my classmate in Rutherford, NJ. She was always smiling and such a joy to be around. I was very saddened by her passing, I know what it is like to lose the 'best mother in the whole world', and I know Cathy is waiting for you all in Heaven to be reunited with you one day. She was such a sweet, cheerful, NICE woman. I know you will cherish the memories you had with her.
Sincerely, Cheryl Wright Vee, Rutherford High School, Class of 1967

Cathy had such an impact on my life. She was an amazing person and had a kind and loving heart. She did not have a bad bone in her body and she would do anything for anyone without having to ask. She didn't know how much she was appreciated and loved, but she does now. She is now smiling down from Heaven and watching over us, and cracking jokes on us too! I miss her terribly and I wish I had even one more minute with her to tell her how much I love her and I am proud to say that she was, and will always be my mother. I hope and pray that this pain I am feeling will pass with time. There is a hole in my heart that will be filled one day when I see her again. I love and miss you so, so much and I want to say thank you for everything you have ever done for me, Mimi and Dad. You saved his life and I am so thankful for that. I love you with all of my heart and I will see you again someday and I know you will be waiting with open arms.

Your daughter,
Jennifer

My sincere condolences to Cathy's family. I really wish that I had gotten to know her better but for the time I did know her, Cathy was ALWAYS smiling and a truly pleasant person to be around. I met Cathy at the Seymours' small group. Cathy-I am so glad that our paths crossed and I will hold on to knowing that I will see you again some day! I pray the Lord will comfort the family in knowing that Cathy is in a place of great peace.

My condolences go out to Cathy's family. I have known Cathy since she was in 6th grade. We grew up together and spent lots of time chatting and trying to stay out of trouble. Actually that was no problem. She got her drivers license before me so we spent plenty of time "cruising" around town. Cathy you will be missed.
