Just found out of Charlies passing. I have known Charlie since I was just a whipper snapper. He would come to Grandpas car lot when I was little, then to dads and later in life to mine. One of my fondest memories was when I called him a few years back and he told me to ride my Harley over to the house so he could see it. That's when I saw his '55 for the first time. Charlie was a good man!! He will definitely be missed by a lot of us in the industry as well as the ones in the historic car clubs/shows. R.I.P. my friend!!

Ginger and I loved our times spent at La Scala with Charlie and other dinner venues! What a bright spot in our day with his conversation and jokes! A really great guy who will be sadly missed.

Charlie was like a father to scott and i we have known him 18 years. we had our home built 4 doors down from him in 2000. he made us laugh. he always had nice things to say to me. he sort took the place of my own father that i loss in 1970. i am going to miss him the most. i would take him something to eat if i saw him in the garage sitting or working on his prize automoblie. which he loved dearly. he would have a kind word to say to me. he would always ask my opinion about his car. if adding this or adding that. we just know its not going to the same without him. you are an angel now charlie, god has chosen you. take your place at his side and fly high as you can. we will alwsys love and miss you so very much.
