God bless the Rutledge's, Charles was a good man, if you meet his family especially Mama Capri you'd see why he was so awesome. They took me in as their own long ago and taught me many values in life that still apply to this day, as they still treat my kids and I like family. Stay in touch if y'all ever need anything. Not a day goes by without a thought of you passing... Charles and his family are very important in my and my kids lives. He was very talented in Marshall arts and the dude knew how to keep the party going... You went to soon, I can't believe it's been 10 years... Till we meet again... - M. KRIEGER

My son it has been over a year and I still miss you with all my heart and soul. Any amount of time will never change how much I miss you . You will always stay in our thoughts and prayers! I cant wait to see you again I hope your doing flips off the clouds in Heaven !

hello im stephanie. I didnt get to know charles that well, but what i do no is that he was an amazing , funny, sweet, loving guy and the list continues. He went way too early! They mean what they say when the good die young! He left behind many friends that I no loved him and a very big and wonderful family. Even thuogh i didnt know you that well Charles I love you and I'll never forget you!

charles was an amazing guy, very smart and just one of those people you wanted to always be around because you knew no matter what, it was gonna be a fun time!!.its hard not to think of him,and all the fun times we all shared with him he was just one of those people you will always remember because he was bound to make an impression in one way or another no matter what it took.

Do you ever think of heaven? Oh I'm sure you do. If i could only tell you how often i do too. It's hard to imagine a place you've never seen. Even so, somehow you know there is a heaven and many do believe. We know it's where we as a spirit, will arrive to pure love. I'd say "We never arrive early, only when our learning is done. It's always hard when someone you love arrives before you. We gathered together in the way he would have wanted us to. charles you were like my brother. i love you. i miss you more and more everyday tht goes by but ur momma and thoughts of seeing you again someday helps me carry on. its hard knowin i was there talkin to you right before it happened and hearin you say "have fun" as i walked out the door. things arent going to get any better and the only thing anyone can do now is "have fun" i miss you and love you.

Charles was and still is my best friend! Everyday that goes by an your not here with me makes it a cold and sad day i think the only reason i get out of bed everyday is because i know you are watching over me in everything I do. When I didn't have a roof over my head you not only gave me a place to stay but you gave me a home an a family I could never repay you for all you did for me. I also want to send my condolences to Charles's family. My deepest sympathy goes out to you. Losing a loved one is tragic and leaves us sadened and in so much pain. Charles was one of a kind. Such an outgoing and motivated person. He could always bring a smile to my face no matter how bad of a day i had. I recentley lost my sister and I know how hard it is when you can't just pick up the phone and say Hi I love you or stop by for a minute no one will ever know how much it hurts. Flip was one of the neatest people I've ever met. He always had a smile for everyone. He made me laugh like noone else! I will remember him always! I am sorry for the loss of Charles, he is a dear friend. The best thing for me to do is look at his death as an open door, instead of an ending. I know where Charles will be when I leave this world. He is in a really cool place right now. You better believe that, I am going to miss him untill then, here's an Irish Blessing:

Ever since have I met Charles we were tight he was like a brother to me everything we did we did together. Him and his mom even took me in when i had no where to go they were my second family my home away from home when I was in Dayton. I will always remeber the times we had together and will miss him dearly.
