Elder Charles William Warfield III, age 78, transitioned on January 6, 2021. Calling Hours, Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2-4pm at Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43219. Service at 4pm. The family will receive flowers at the church. Charles was such a joy to talk with when he called in for service on his HVAC equipment. He was a customer since 2004 and we will miss him dearly. Our hearts go out to his family and we will keep you in our thoughts & prayers.

Sis. Delores and family, how my heart and spirit pray for your comfort, as I heard of Elder (Bro.) Charles' passing this morning. My mind is flooded with the earliest of memories as a youth at Northside, under pastoral leadership of Margaret Edwards, and [he] being one of the true "fires" full of faith for God. I'm not sure if you remember, but at 12yrs old, I was badly burned by a fire, prayed for by the congregation and "miraculously" healed within a weeks time, with no apparent scaring. I specifically remember "Bro." Charles making me into a "poster-child" for Gods healing power afterwards. As a church, when we visited several fellow congregations, [he] made sure I was able to travel, in order to spread the news. He became such an inspiration and encouraging figure; vibrant example of faith in God. I am so thankful that God allowed our life's paths to cross. Please know that the prayers, support, encouragement and love for me then, still carry me now.....so Thankful
