Charlotte Olivieri Obituary

Dec. 2, 1929-Sept. 1, 2013

Charlotte E. Olivieri, age 83, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.
A Funeral Mass for Charlotte will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, September 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Fr. Loren Kalinowski officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:30 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue on the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Academy Foundation or Make A Wish. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and the church during Mass.
Charlotte was born on December 2, 1929, in Detroit, the daughter of Henry and Emma (Giertz) Naas. She married Joseph B. Olivieri on August 2, 1952 at the Nativity Church in Detroit. Charlotte obtained her Bachelors Degree in Education and taught for 1 year in the Birmingham School District before becoming a loving mother and wife. Joseph and Charlotte spent 50 loving years together before his passing in 2002. Charlotte was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Joseph (Nancy) Olivieri, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Amy (Jerry) Kowalski of Brighton, Todd (Mary) Olivieri of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Nicole and Rachel Olivieri; Jamie, Evan (Natalie), and Kyle Kowalski, and Katie (Heath) Block, Sara Olivieri, and Megan (Matt) Stephens; and her beloved great grandson, Hudson Block.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents; brothers, Earl, Harold, Norman, Willard, Fred, and Tom Naas ; and sister, Marie Maylum.
