Christina M. Rak

1964 - 2016

Rak Christina M. Rak, age 51, of Sunbury, Ohio, passed away Tuesday November 22, 2016. Born December 27, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to William and the late Frances Powell of New Albany, Ohio. Christina attended Columbus School for Girls and was a graduate of New Albany High School. She then graduated with a Bachelors of English Education from The Ohio State University. After a variety of jobs, she took the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom where she enjoyed taking care of her three children and attending their many activities. Christina was preceded in death by her mother. Christina is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael W. Rak; daughters, Rachel and Marissa Rak; son, Avery Rak; her father; brothers, Matt (Cindy) Powell, Mark (Pepper) Powell; niece, Sarah Powell; nephew, Luke Powell; and a host of loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends, Sunday December 4, 2016, from 1-4 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio 43230.
