Christine Powers Obituary

Powers Christine Ann Powers (Reichenbach), Chrissy to her truest friends, lived an amazing life. She passed away Saturday evening, June 28, 2014, after a lengthy and valiant battle against cancer. Today we celebrated our 50th Class Reunion from Northland High School. Christina was missed and remembered by so many classmates. She and I used to walk home from Woodward Park Jr High and we would sing on our way home. I have many great memories of her. She was missed tonight by me and many others.

She was gone several weeks when I heard. She was my best friend when were kids. I can see you goofy frog face in my mind. I helped her thru her body cast years as best I could. I have such fond memories. I wish her peace from her pain. Lisa Larrick Vollmer

I sat near Chris for a couple of years at work, but only worked with her on a few projects. She was smart and dedicated to doing a good job. She was also fun to be around. She always had a big bowl of candy, and I'll never forget the sock monkey that she had at her desk that played the song "Dynomite" by Taio Cruz. She'd get it going late on Friday afternoons (or sometimes after the weekly meeting on Friday mornings), bringing up everyone's spirits for the weekends. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and her close friends.

Our condolences to the family. We never had the privilege to know her, but she must've been an incredible woman because just look at Johnna. We love her.
