1959 - 2019
Cindy L Young, 60, passed away June 7, 2019. Cindy was a kind and loving wife to Tom, mother to their two daughters Carly (Ben) Thompson and Audrey (Danny) Filimon, and sister to Na (Tim) Day. Cindy's passion was helping others, most recently as a Medical Assistant with Associated Pediatrics. Cindy was an avid animal lover with a special love for cats. She was a strong woman of faith who always tried to optimistically live life. Her celebration of life will take place at the Church of the Messiah, 51 N State St, Westerville, OH 43081, Friday, June 14 at 1:30 PM with gathering starting at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow the service at Northlawn Memory Gardens. Remembrances can be shared at http://www.HillFuneral.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center.

Tom, so sorry to hear of Cindy's passing, so hard to believe. While our paths have not crossed sine the kids were young, we still talk about you and Cindy with our kids, Ryan and Colleen. Such fond memories of Cindy babysitting Ryan, and a good friendship with you two. Prayers to you and your girls at this difficult time. Martha Hicks

Cindy had an impact on my life that went far beyond our friendship as young adults. I witnessed her love and kindness toward others for a year - the year she cared for our infant son in her home. My wife and I were new, nervous parents...too nervous to want to leave our son Ryan in a day care center with people we didn't know. The love and care she gave our son was a gift to us that we could never repay. It was probably a small thing to Cindy, but it meant the world to us. And it gave us the opportunity to fully see the patient, kind, funny and loving woman that Cindy was in a way we couldn't before. I'm sure this is just one of countless examples of how Cindy touched people's lives in ways big and small. Thank you, Cindy, for your gift to us.
