Clarence Ruzicka Obituary

RUZICKA Clarence Robert "Zeke" Ruzicka, age 60, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at home. Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Betty Ruzicka. Survived by wife and partner of 39 years, Judy Ruzicka; children, Michael (Susie) Ryan, Susan (John) Farra, Julie Ruzicka, and Robert Brandon (Terra) Ruzicka, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Cayla, Gwen, Joseph, Gabe, Jeffrey, Nick, Tyler, Jorden, Alexis, Maddie, Brenna, and Gaige; brothers, Delmar (Sue) Ruzicka and Jerry (Bonnie) Ruzicka; sister, Janet (Bob) Spillman; nephews, Mike, Tim, Tony, and Jeff Ruzicka, Bobby and Dustin Spillman, and their families; and many friends. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne stationed in Alaska during Vietnam. Initiated into the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local #189 on February 6, 1979 and was a member for 30 years and 9 months. He was a member of Moose Lodge #13 and was a 32nd degree Shriner. He will be greatly missed every day of our lives. We loved him so dearly. The family will receive friends 3-7 p.m. Saturday, November 28 with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Rev. Tim Lee officiating.
