Again, Eddie and I are so very sorry for the loss of your beloved family member, Claude. We know he meant a lot to you as your husband, and father, of course; to others a brother, uncle, and a friend of so many that will miss Claude. My heart hurts for you during this sad time. Claude fought hard to live, but it was not in God's plan. Paula, if there is anything you need, Eddie and I are here for you. I am sorry we were not at his funeral, but please know we have been thinking of you and praying for you. With much love,

Cousy was simply one of those guysone of those guys who you grew up with whose qualities stick with you in the "wish i had those" sense. He was open, sincere, competitive, honest and always true to who he was. Recently he found me after many years of no communication and from the first day it was like the last day i talked with him in Youngstown. That was a testament to the man he was.
