Mrs. Connie Brant was truly one of the very best teachers that I can remember at West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, N.C. She was a gifted educator and dramatist. She was a brilliant woman who honestly loved her work and it showed. My 20 year class reunion is soon and I was attempting to contact Mrs. Brant via Facebook and was lead to her obituary. Many of us from the class were wanting to know how some of our most loved teachers are doing these days and I know hearing that Mrs. Brant is no longer with us will be saddening to many of them. May fond memories comfort the Brant family and all of those who were close to her.
