Courtney Nicole Bruce, age 26 was born on Sept. 7, 1994. She departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 20 2021. Boog The Bandit released her first official song, "Lonely," in April 2020 and in 2021 released "Heart Away," "Hot Topic" and "Risky." Preceded in death by father, Jack Staten, grandfather, Henry L. Bruce and cousin Marquies Benjamin. Survived by her mother, Wanda R. Bruce; brother, Caleb Bruce; grandmother, Mildred Bruce; aunts, Teresa Bruce, Sharon Cannon, and Patricia Bruce; uncle, Anthony Bruce; cousins, Sierra Cannon, Quan Bruce, Dariah Bruce, Tyrell Walker, MacKenzie Bruce, Sheniqua Bruce, Evan Conner, Ebony Bruce, Shaquita Travis, and Devon Bruce; a host of other relatives. 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Visitation followed by 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, June 1, 2021, TurnPoint Apostolic Church 7718 Groveport Road; Private Interment. I recall the first time i saw your music video and straight away it was just cuteness overload. Your style, your looks, your movements, your voice, your music, everything just screamed unique. I was hooked, obsessed even. Can not believe your poor soul was taken away. There will forever be a blemish on my heart for this. I've never met a person like you and im sure i never will. One of a kind. You have made an impact on me like i thought no one ever could. Rest in peace beautiful Courtney, Love you forever.

My condolences to Wanda, Caleb and family. I cried so hard when I heard about Courtney. I knew Courtney when she was younger and she was a fire cracker. I never knew she had gotten into music. Wanda, I'm thinking of you and your family during this time. So sorry for your loss.

Courtney I’m so sorry this had to happened to you.. my condolences to your family during this difficult time. I moved to Columbus back in 2010 & you really show me the ropes on how to move in the city & for that I’m forever grateful You was the freshest person I ever knew you always was bout your business & it really showed but again I’m so sorry your time with us had to be cut short but just know your legacy will forever live on.
