Cynthia A. Brainard

Brainard (Belleperche) Cynthia A. Brainard, 62, of Gahanna, OH passed away peacefully on December 29, 2016 at Heartland-Uptown Westerville. She was born October 11, 1954 in Columbus, OH to Richard and Elsie (Mielke) Belleperche, who preceded her in death. Cindy was a graduate of Gahanna-Lincoln High School, Class of '72, and retired from Kroger with 37 1/2 years of service. Cindy met Joseph Brainard while working at Kroger, and accepted his hand in marriage on December 11, 1976. In addition to her husband Joe, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Kristopher (Nannette) Brainard and their children, Hailey and Rachel; daughter and son-in-law, Ryan (Andrew) Nadeja and their children, Aiden and Riley; sister, Kathy (Bob) Bielec; brother, John Belleperche; mother-in-law, Hilda Brainard; brothers-in-law, Matt (Penny) Brainard and Bert (Vicki) Brainard; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 with a service to follow at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
