Dan Reuter Obituary
Dan D. Reuter, Sr., 69 of Circleville, passed away December 22, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 3, 1948 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of John and Leona (Pickens) Reuter, Sr. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, member of Amvets #2256 and was retired from Berger Health Systems as an anesthetist. He graduated in 1975 from Ohio University with his Associate Degree in Nursing and from OSU in 1978 with his CRNA degree. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Phillip. He is survived by his mother; wife, Carolyn (Endicott) Reuter; sons, Dan (Erin) Reuter, Jr. and Matthew Reuter; grandsons, J.D. and Brady; siblings, John Reuter, Judy Echard and Pam Greenlee. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Pickaway County Humane Society or Arbor Day Foundation. Online condolences may be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.

Dear Carolyn, Dan Jr. and Matt, I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that I will keep all of you in my thoughts and my prayers. When I think of Dan, I think of when Staci broke her arm and had to have surgery on it. She was so afraid. Actually she was being very brave. I was the one a nervous wreck. When she saw it would be Dan putting her to sleep, she relaxed and felt very safe. We all were very happy to know that Dan would be in the operating room with her. Staci watched Matt a few times while you and Dan got away for a while. I know the pain you are suffering now and wish I could take it away for you, but I can't. I hope it helps to know that I am thinking about all of you and praying that God gives you the peace and comfort that you need at this very difficult time.
