Downard Daniel Downard, died January 18, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Janice Downard. He is survived by his children, Joshua and Alexsis Baker; brothers, Robert (Terry) and Leo Downard; granddaughter, Kairi Baker; grandmother, Verna Salyer; many other relatives. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, where friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. Friday. Dear Family of Danny, We can find no words that are enough to take away the grief, so all of us must rely on God for help and strenght in our belief. We pray God will uplift you gently, take the sorrow that you bear, then comfor you with healing in the safety of His love.
To Jim and I it seems only yesterday that Danny was a gleam in his Mommy and Daddy's eyes. They are all united now in Heaven.

Met Danny many years ago at USA North he was so nice and always seemed to wear a smile. Have not seem him for a couple of years, he was smiling then too. He just lit up when he told me about his children. He will be missed.
