Daniel Joseph Reinhard, 71, of Plain City, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 5, 2018 in his home. Born December 5, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Elmer and Marguerite (Ashcraft) Reinhard. Dan was a 1964 graduate of Holy Family High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He was an avid lover of antique tractors, particularly Massey Harris. Dan looked forward every year to volunteering at the Miami Valley Steam Threshers. He was also a very devoted volunteer to the Plain City Food Pantry. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son-in-law Allen McCaslin and 3 grandsons. Dan is survived by his 6 children, Joseph (Carla) Reinhard, Robert (Sarah) Reinhard, Aimee (Daniel) Blumenschein, Susan McCaslin, David (Brittany) Reinhard, Melissa (Ryan) Ferriman; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Jordan, Bill (Carol) Reinhard, Mary Reinhard. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plain City Food Pantry, 156 W. Main Street, Plain City, OH 43064.
