David Alban Obituary
David Austin Alban, 63, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Dave was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church. He is a graduate of Worthington High School, Class of 1974, attended The Ohio State University and The University of Georgia. Dave was employed at Alban & Alban, L.L.P. He is preceded in death by his father David R. Alban. Survived by his mother, Sue C. Alban (Boothe); sister, Megan (Lawrence) Hosey; brother, Glenn F. (Cindy) Alban; niece, Austin N. Hosey-Crosby and her husband, Tom Crosby; nephews, Christian Sorensen and William R. Alban; uncle, J. Calvin (Diane) Alban. Dave was a member of York Lodge, Aladdin Shriners, 32nd Degree Masons, Valley of Columbus, A.A.S.R., Past President of the Mercator Club of Columbus, Dave was a caring and unselfish person and will be missed by all that knew him. Dave will be inurned at The Worthington Presbyterian Church with small service for family and friends at a later date with a reception and celebration of life to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the Name of David A. So sad to hear of Dave passing. Dave was a sincerely pleasure to know. At our class reunion five years ago, he made me feel so welcome and know he will be missed at our upcoming 45th, where I was looking forward to discussing our shared Welsh heritage. To quote Wilfred Wilson's Welsh poem: "To be born Welsh is to be born privileged. Not with a silver spoon in your mouth. But music in your blood and poetry in your soul." I am so so sorry to learn of Dave's passing.
He was the first person I met when we moved to Worthington. He was always so sweet and friendly. Always had a smile on his face. He had so many friends and was always surrounded by his friends. Prayers to all his family and friends. He will be missed by all.

I am very sad to hear of Dave's death. He was a fun friend during our high school years. We were able to stay in touch over the years and I will miss talking with him. He was a peaceful soul and a good guy.

So sad to learn of Dave's passing. I met Dave in 7th grade and he was always just a great guy. He treated people in a kind,friendly way. He just had a way of attracting people to him. My condolences to all the family... and our Worthinton friends who will miss him and smile when thinking of our times with Dave.

Dave always welcomed me and others with open arms and a hug! I have wonderful and fun memories of times together. He will certainly be missed!!
