David Bowers Obituary

Bowers, David James "Dave"
1969 - 2018
David Bowers, known to friends and family as "Dave," husband, father, son and brother passed away suddenly on July 11, 2018 in the presence of friends, at the age of 49 years. A lifelong resident of central Ohio, Dave attended Pensacola Christian College in Florida, and graduated in 1991 with a degree in advertising and graphic design. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Jamie (Coulson); and his 3 sons, Dylan James, Jack Ryan and Henson Dean. Dave will be forever remembered by his father and step-mother, Daryl and Maxine Bowers; his sister, Becky Boyd (Jon); his nephew, Jacob Boyd; his niece, Megan Boyd; his family, extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia (Suffecool) Bowers and grandparents. Dave would like to let you know that his time here is done. He received a call, an offer he couldn't refuse, for a meeting from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge bonus, a reunion with his dear family he has not seen in a long time. His new journey takes him to a magnificent place where he will be hiking, tinkering with toys and collectibles, taking pictures of aesthetic things, driving to beautiful places, traveling to exciting places and reading til his heart's content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. The food is delicious, none of that gluten free stuff and you never gain an ounce. Dave knew that the journey taken was always the destination. Dave had a wonderful humor full of sarcasm and knew how to make people laugh. He would want us all to remember that about him. Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (St. Rt. 161 W), Plain City, where a funeral service will begin at 5 PM Saturday. David was a good friend and a fellow RE/MAX agent, He treated everyone as his friend. Always a positive person loved it when I read see him rooting on the buck eyes with his Buckeye necklaces. We will all miss him!
