We just heard of Dave's passing and wanted to convey our deepest sympathy to your family. We enjoyed running into Dave at the Eagles. He had a great smile and was a wonderful person to talk too. He looked forward to his trip to Germany earlier this year and enjoyed it tremdously. I am so glad he was able to go.
He will be missed.
God Bless your family and may you find comfort in good memories.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. David practically raised me when I was a little girl in Cadiz. He took me to Sunday School and played with me often. Neva was a very dear friend of my mother's and I was Doris and Chuck's flower girl in their wedding. I was saddened to hear of David's passing. Though I have not seen him in years, I fondly remember his "big brother" love. May the memories of such a wonderful person stay in our hearts forever. It was my pleasure having him as a part of my young life.

Where do I begin about MY FRIEND Dave Cope? After awhile I wondered why he didn't say hi to me? I said Dave, Ok why didn't you say hi to me? Is it because I am not with Jimmy? Well that certainly changed, he said "HI JANICE" and I said "HI DAVE"! If my husband Jim Autullo was playing cards I would say that is OK I will go sit by Dave. I made adversiments for him for papers and will never get rid of them off my computer! The only problem I ever had from him is my husbands loud mouth and his one good ear. He was 10 years older than me and our oldest children were 10 years older then each other and I always thought that was special! I am not a Browns fan, but I say GO BROWNS for Dave! May the "THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYS" win the National Championship! I Love You Dave and will always miss you!!!! I hope you have been Blessed from all my heart! PS Jim if you read this I was the one who printed out your daughter's picture with the Bulldog for your Dad!

My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of Dave. I met Dave at the Eagles. He was a great man with a good and giving heart. We enjoyed sharing stories of our lives in law enforcement. He was truly a "brother" and will be very much missed by all who knew him.

I grew up with Dave in Cadiz and graduated from Cadiz in 1966 with Dave.We went separate ways as did a lot of Cadiz grads.,not much to keep a person around Cadiz. I moved to Reynoldsburg in 1990 and I would run into him quite often at a supply house getting HVAC supplies. He will be missed ,he was a great guy and friend. Condolences to his family.
