Marge, I am so sorry for your loss. Working with Dave, yourself and the ACME family was one of the times in my life where the people I worked with were like a family. I will keep you and The Marshall Family in my prayers.

Oh, Marjie, I am so sorry. I really enjoyed being with Dave and you. You both taught me things and made me laugh. I'm glad I could help when I did. I'm proud to know friends who started and built their own company. I boast about you two all the time! And I tell anyone looking for a cab to call 777-7777, ACME!
With my prayers and love, Peggy

Margie, your family here in Tennessee sends their sympathy, love and prayers. We all enjoyed getting acquainted with Dave at the family reunion several years ago. Please extend our sympathy to Dave's children & their families.

My thoughts and prayers are with David's family. My father Ket Segraves drove for ACME until his death in May 2005. I will remember how good the people at the taxi service were to my family at that time. With sympathy and great admiration.

I would like to say a few words about my uncle that not many know.
First my uncle Dave was my mentor. As far back as I can remember I always looked up to Dave because he knew how to fix cars and as a kid I thought that was the coolest thing ever. So I wanted to be a mechanic when I grew up. I got the chance to work for Dave on his cabs for a short time. He had taught me a few things that I still use when working on my own cars to this day. I always have admired Dave for starting his own company ( ACME TAXI ) and we talked one day about him being his own boss and this is what he had told me “That it has been a fight everyday to keep Acme going because every time you look around someone is trying to knock you down” .
Well I say to you Uncle Dave that you fought a good fight and you won. You will be missed. Sorry for your loss John, Gabrielle and Marjorie
