I am sorry to hear about David's passing. I knew David somewhat well. We had informative discussions about Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Sad to hear one of the two persons I first met in the US pass away. Susan, it was you and David that accommodated Lingqian and me for our first couple of days in this country and helped us through those tough days. Lingqian and I will be praying for you living through the current tough days.

Dear Susan and Family, You may not remember me but we attended Riverside Bible Church together years ago. I have 2 sons, Eric and Trent, who were close in age to your Peter and Andrew. Just yesterday you and I both had memorial services for our husbands and I think they may have both been at Kobacker at the same time. Dennis pasted Sat. morning July 20th and I just found out about your husband this morning at church. I have fond memories of your family, and memories of you as a wonderful friend. Now years have passed and the Lord has our paths crossing again. The Lords mercies and grace have been so effident to me just as I'm sure His working in your life is to you as well. If you get this message, I hope you will call me at 614-451-6452. Love in Christ, Connie Iguchi

I was a member of the Goodrich Club at Albion College when David was there. I graduated in 1958 and became a United Methodist Pastor. We lived in the G.C. house at the same time. He was a quiet, respected member of our close friendship in the house. I send my love and condolences to his family and ask for God's blessing on him in all eternity.

Dear Susan,
May God hold you close and make His tender mercies evident to you, Andrew and Peter and their families. We have such happy memories of you and David and the beautiful example of Jesus you have shown through your faithfulness in life, work, marriage, family, friendships and in your walk with the Lord. May these remembrances bring comfort to all of you, and may the hope of Heaven bring you His peace.
