Bill,Judy, Tracey and family we are here for you through your time of sorrow. Daymon will be missed so greatly. His life made a great statement. He left behind for each of us, the courage to be who we are and the right to express it! His life spoke of liberation. He completed his circle and God called him to come begin eternity. Wow! what an honor to be in the presence of the Lord. Sure, I know there will be sad times, but be encouraged and know that God promised us beauty for ashes, the joy of oil for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. It didn't quite hit me until the funeral. I had the privelege of knowing Damon, and was so amazed that so many others and more had that same privilege. I will definately miss him, though I know we will meet again. The impact of his life displayed last night has caused me to look at life in such a different way and treasure every moment. Mr. and Mrs. Dodson know that my prayers are with you during this difficult time.

MR and Mrs Dodson,
When my mom had told me that daymond had passed away i could not believe it.I felt so sad inside that i could not attend his homegoing service. So the holy spirit told me to search on the internet so atleast i could have closure. I just wanted to see his face,and to my surprise i could not beleve that after googling a 1000x's i found him. What a blessing he must have been to you. There are so many wonderful things that friends and family have said about your precious son. When I saw his picture i smiled and cried because the last time i saw daymon was years ago and he had on his sunday clothes in the old church building.Even though i haven't seen him in a long time i will still miss him.i just pray that GOD will comfort you and bless you for raisng a beautitful child.(even though you were not given any hand books) you did a wonderful job. i will always remember his laghter and smile at church.May God bless you from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. i will pray for both of you , you were good parents to daymond .

I am a quiet person who doesn't talk a lot and I remember how Daymon would enthusiastically talk to me whenever he saw me. His happiness would draw me out of my shell and make me happy too.

Words cannot begin to express what we were privileged to experience during Daymon’s Homegoing celebration. We were an eye witness to a man who was truly about his Father’s business. He went out into all of the world and lived Jesus. He in all likelihood was the only Jesus that some people would have ever seen. He was the living Epistle being read of men. He did not contain the gospel in the four walls of the church, but dared to go where he was called, to be an affect for the Kingdom. He stepped out into a world where a lot of us have not gone or perhaps will never go. He allowed his light to shine brightly for the world, but perhaps some in the church never saw, simply because they were looking at the exterior when God clearly states that he looks at the inward part…the heart. Daymon had the heart of the Lion of Judah. What an awesome feeling it must be to know that you gave birth to a man who impacted so many. If we can learn from anything we saw last night, it was that every person who we come in contact with should be able to eat from our fruit and know Jesus. Let us all begin to think and act outside of the box so that we too can impact lives for Jesus. God Bless !!!

Mr. and Mrs. Dodson...Today is my birthday. I have just found out about the passing of one of my favorite people..a person of sincere character and truly as great as his stature. The joy I have in survival does not match the sadness that I feel in the loss of such a great human being-you raised a great young man, and I was truly blessed to have spent time with him. The sheer volume of joy that he gave to those around him lives on as a testament to God's love. Daymon left a mark on this world, and all of your family will be in my thoughts.

My heart aches for both of you right now, yet I rejoice in the fact that you know as I know that under the shadow of His wings is our hiding place and they that run to Him will find peace and rest.
God's hand was upon Daymon and he is now at peace with his Father in heaven. I know that this time of pain is so difficult. I am still learning how to move on without Richard, but I have peace and solace knowing that now in heaven Richard has grabbed Daymon up and are planning to have an "open mic" talent showcase in the heavenlies. So don't think it strange when we hear rolls of thunder, because our guys are up there having a blast worshipping God for all eternity!

I love you and I will miss you. I will miss the times that we kicked it at my house, the times that we joked around, the times that we went out to eat and rate how good the food taste, and most importantly, I am going to miss your laughter. I can still see that smirk on your face and hear that laugther in my ear! Not only were you Jon's Godbrother, you were my godbrother and I am proud that I got to know you as a brother and a friend.... Until we meet again!!!!

The loss of Daymon was a shock to me. He was a wonderful and talented young man. I remember last year Daymon helping one of my patients get to his doctors appointments, he was very giving and caring. He will be greatly missed. I will never forget him. You are both in my prayers.

I remember a straight week when Daymon drove clear across Columbus to see to it that I got to work on time at 6:30 am (my job was in Dublin). When Daymon was your friend, you had a TRUE FRIEND! Daymon will be greatly missed. My brother and I loved him dearly. I miss his smile, his jokes, his self sacrafice. Truly there will never be another Daymon on this earth. I remember back in 1998 when I needed a ride to work every morning to Riverside hospital he would get up at 5am in the morning, come all the way from the other side of town to pick me up and take me to work. To this day I don't know of anyone who would do such a thing. He would help our ministry out in many ways. We were hanging buddies for a long time. I was shocked when I heard the news. It is something, just a few weeks ago I touched base with a mutual friend of ours and I asked for Daymon's email becuase it has been a long time since I heard from him. 2 weeks later I recieve this news.
