To: Rena, Jason, and Dennis. I remember when you were just kids running around Bear's house, it's hard for me to accept that you guys are adults now with kids of your own. Bear would be so proud of his kids today. May God be with you during this time of loss. Please stay strong and remember there's no sorrow on earth that heavan can not heal. Derrick's life is over in flesh but his spirit will always be with you. God Bless, Fashun, Faness, and Wonder.

To the Woods Families,
Greetings in the sweet name of Jesus our Lord and Savior. The Brileys were one of Derrick's extended families. We will cherish the priceless moments we all shared with Woods. He was a sweet young man. May you too be comforted by the sweet spirits he exemplified. May God bless you and heaven smile upon you. He and my son were as close as brothers. Also, he was there for us when we lost my daughter to sickle cell anemia. Thank you for sharing him with us.
