Diane L. Mustric

Mustric Diane L. Mustric, 64, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2016, at the James Cancer Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born on August 22, 1951 to the late Russel E. and Esther D. Spencer, and grew up in Worthington, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Puskas. She is survived by her husband, Dr. George Mustric; son, Gregory Mustric; daughters, Tiffany (Jonathan) Smiley, and Courtney Mustric; sister, Shirley (Bob) Landthorn; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Diane was a member of the Worthington HS Class of '69, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the Ohio Dominican University. She had a special talent for attracting and taking care of many broods of her beloved bluebirds, and enjoyed raising and showing her Grand Champion standard poodles. Most important to Diane, though, was her family and spending time with them, which she continued to do while fighting a long, courageous battle with colon cancer. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. High St., Worthington, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., with interment at Union Cemetery immediately following.
