Diedre was a very dear and special friend I worked with at the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. She had the sweetest spirit and God now has one of his angels. He's now watching over her precious legacy and family. Will be missed forever

It is with deep and profound sorrow that members of the Ohio Statewide MBE/DBE Taskforce record the passing of our friend and former member Diedre L. Woodford. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We encourage you with these words: A life well lived is a precious gift, of hope and strength and grace, from someone who has made our world a brighter, better place. It's filled with moments, sweet and sad with smiles and sometimes tears, with friendships formed and good times shared, and laughter through the years. A life well lived is a legacy, of joy and pride and pleasure, a living, lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure.

I'm sitting here texting about Diedre a friend who is gone, co-worker, colleague and it feels so wrong. We engaged in taking her girls to events out, now she will definitely be missed by all, without a doubt. So let's take one day at a time and reflect on the "Great" memories from her past, and keep them in our "Hearts", where they will always lasted!
