Donald Earle Burson

Burson Donald Earle Burson, age 63, of Sunbury, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 24, 1951, in Cleveland, to the late Earle Donald and Eleanor Jane (Kugel) Burson. After serving his country in the Army during Vietnam, Don married the love of his life, Linda D. Vintar on May 10, 1975. He was a sales rep with Zipf Lock Company for the past 16 years. In addition to golfing, bowling and gardening, Don enjoyed the occasional trip to Belterra Casino. A fan of all sports, Don especially loved all the Cleveland teams, OSU Football and NASCAR's Jimmy Johnson. A little known fact about Don, he enjoyed watching the Little League World Series. A family man, Don treasured most the time spent with his granddaughter. He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Abraham Earle Burson (Kelly) of Delaware; granddaughter, Lauren Noelle Burson; brother, John "Jack" Burson (Mary Gail) of Cleveland; sister, Lynda Burson (Donald Sloane) of Columbus Station as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David Burson. Friends and family are invited to an open house on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at his son's residence: 1001 Wallace Drive, Delaware, OH 43015 any time after 12 noon. In keeping with Don's wishes, he will be cremated and his ashes scattered by his immediate family at a later date.
