Jackie and kids: I am a fraternity brother from '92. I got to know him during the House remodel. Without him, the fraternity would not be around today. His contribution was that valuable. That means nothing to you probably, but it meant everything to us. I wish you only the best, and my prayers are with you.

I did not know Donald. I know Adam his son. Adam, I am so very sorry, for what you and your family are going through. I have been there. Loosing anyone is heart breaking. A parent is something you feel your heart will not mend. Give it time. Talk about your good times or what you all had to go through. You can call me any time or catch me at work. Your Father had to of been a great man. My Brother, God Father (Uncle) and another Uncle all has the name Donald. All Donald are Saints. God Bless you all. You all are in my prayers.

Brother Don,
We all know this day will come, just not when or how. It sounds like you remained strong willed and stoic for your family to the very end and that of course is the Don Rossel I know and love. You had a life of integrity and honor and although it may have been cut short, I hope you had few regrets.
I look back at our time together fondly and can recount many a story of not just fun, but of principle for while we may have made mischief, there was never bad intent. More importantly, we always fell back to doing the right thing.
I am thinking of you daily and praying for you nightly and of course Jackie and your kids. It would have been my privilege to see you again but alas that was not to be. I do however, have a very vivid image of you (and me, together) carving a path of change (and yes, occasionally chaos) upon the Otterbein campus.
You will forever be the last Boy Scout, Mr. Rossel. That is how I think of you now and forever will.
With my highest regard and deepest respect,
Como

My deepest sympathy. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Don was a leader in the Eta Phi Mu Fraternity. He taught me a lot. He was, as it is said, a "Gentle Giant".
