Donald J. West, 78, passed away on October 12, 2018. He was born on November 26, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bon and Nola West, sister, Peggy, brother, Ralph. Surviving family includes longtime loyal companion of 30 years, Linda Smallwood, sister, Bonita, daughters, Sandy (Bill) Wymard, Stori (Al) DeLancey, Cheri (Richard) Crabtree, Jody (Mike) Myers, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Newcomer, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231, where a funeral service will begin at 6pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. To leave a message for the family visit www.NewcomerColumbus.com.

Lived next door (1324 High Street) to the West Familyfor many years. We just lost my sister Molly Jean Bell Lust this month and my other sister JoAnn Bell Clark 3 years ago.
