Donna was a great teacher for Clinical Chemistry. I appreciated her attention to detail.

Letting Donna's family know how many people Donna influenced in her career as a Medical Technologist at OSU. Donna was my Chemistry Teacher when I was a student and subsequently a peer when I was the Immunology Supervisor. Donna was a great mentor as well as a great friend! I am saddened by her loss, but know she is up there with all of the Buckeye fans with a very special view of the football field.

Donna, you will be forever remembered for your zest and passion for life, for generously giving your time to so many wonderful causes, and for your happy spirit and sense of humor. Donna was a committed volunteer at The James for years. Often called the "party gal" for throwing such wonderful parties for the patients, families, and staff. She especially loved the parties on holidays; always giving an appropriate sticker to everyone she met! We will all miss you, but will never forget you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and many friends as we all mourn your loss.

Oh Donna. I was sooooo saddened to see your name here. You were Chem Lab Supt when I was a student & thru the years I looked so forward to seeing your smiling face at the football & basketball games. I wondered when you were not sitting in your seats this year where you were. Now you are with the BIG Buckeye Club up in Heaven so keep cheering us on up there. You will never be forgotten & thanks for making your time on earth a better place for us all. Hugs, Mimi Mudrak

Dear Donna(Goldie),
You will be remembered for the enthususam you had for life and all the beauty around you.
You had the interest, energy and talent to find joy in so many ways and you were very sharing of that joy to family, friends and co-workers. What an inspiration you were.
I think of the love you had for family, church, CATS,
dogs(where is your mommy?),FLOWERS, THE BUCKEYES, travel, volunteering(The James.....in charge of special parties for patients, visiters and staff, Chadwick Aboretum and Franklin Park Conservatory),eating out(especially with retired co-workers),attending festivals and special events around town and most things green(your favorite color)......wasn"t your first car green?
Your explanation for staying up late was "I hate to give up the day"I know your Journey will be special. Say hello to Lynn and Yankee Boy.
Will miss you.
Until.............Love, M.M.

Although we only had the pleasure of knowing Donna for a few short years, she will be forever in our memories. Her warmth and spirited sense of humor were always appreciated and her love of the Buckeyes was unparalleled. The neighborhood kitties have also lost a cherished friend. Our sincere condolences to the Bitzel family.
