Edward F. Eisenberg, age 74, passed away on August 28, 2018. Preceded in death by his parents William and Norma (Beckman) Eisenberg and brother Steven Eisenberg. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Gilbert Eisenberg; son, Adam (Jill) Eisenberg; daughter, Jessica (Daniel) Weiss; sister, Susan (Michael) Stein; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Joshua and Alyssa Eisenberg, Nadav, Yaron and Dotan Weiss; sisters-in-law, Toby Eisenberg, Leslie (Don) Samuelson, Karen (Neil) Moss and Laura Miller; brother-in-law, Craig (Donna) Gilbert; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ed graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School and earned his undergraduate and master's degree from The Ohio State University. He served as past President of the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. of Central Ohio and served on the board of trustees at the JCC Columbus and Congregation Tifereth Israel where he also volunteered for Chevra Kadisha. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, August 30 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Burial will follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Adam and Jill Eisenberg on Thursday from 6-9pm, Friday from 1-3pm and Sunday-Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Congregation Tifereth Israel www.tiferethisrael.org. Online guestbook at www.epsteinmemorial.com
