Ellen,
I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Ann McCrystal e-mailed me to let me know. It has been a quarter of a century since we lived in Bexley, but the memories are much more fresh than the time would suggest. I also vividly recall the class reunion at Cap when I saw you last. It was heartwarming to read of Bob's activities which obviously reflected his values of social justice and obvious caring for others through the church and community.
I am sorry that we lost touch. My thoughts are with you and Suellen now.

Ellen, the last few days have been full of memories of Ed as many of us at the police department recall the many experiences we shared with him over his career. It was good to see you both at the awards reception along with all the other retired officers. You and Sue Ellen are in my prayers during this time, and the days ahead. Ed was a good man and will be remembered by all of us who were fortunate enough to know him.
