Elizabeth B. Stapleton

Stapleton Elizabeth B. (Boggs) Stapleton, age 80, of Oak Hill, formerly of Grove City, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born April 1, 1935 in Oak Hill to the late Homer Boggs Sr. and Irene (Oney) Boggs. Elizabeth was a cashier at Albers and Food World for 40 years in Columbus. She is survived by her son, Terry (Sandy) Stapleton; grandson, Luke (Savannah) Stapleton; great grandchildren, Remington and Dixie Stapleton; and three siblings. In addition to her parents. she is preceded in death by her husband Russell Edward "Sonny" Stapleton; infant daughter Deborah Jo Stapleton; and five siblings. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the LEWIS GILLUM FUNERAL HOME OF OAK HILL with Pastor Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow in C.M. Cemetery.
