I have known Embrey since our days together at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky where we were friends and Fraternity brothers. We met again in Pikeville, KY, when I was an Interim Minister for several months and enjoyed being with Embrey and Janet again. Embrey and Janet were active members of the First Christian Church. They were a great part of the church there and I recall them with great pleasure. We will miss seeing him in the years ahead. John and Helen Bray

I was privileged to know Embrey as a friend and neighbor for ten years. I will treasure our long conversations ranging from politics to dandelion eradication and every topic in between. He was a wonderful man, always cheerful, and I'm thankful I had the chance to get to know him. Rest in peace, my friend. We will miss you. George Semos

Never had the privilege of knowing Embrey, although we were first cousins. My dad was Lee Embrey, your grandmother's twin brother. Sorry to hear of his passing. What wonderful accomplishments.
