My name is Ashley and I work at the Starbucks in Glades Plaza. Monday through Friday I could expect to see Eric standing in line waiting for his coffee with an add shot of espresso. He would always get his coffee with Tina. Sometimes I would see him more than once and make fun of him for his caffeine addiction. He was such a nice guy, and his eyes always seemed to be smiling. I would walk home from work and he would drive by in his beemer and wave hello. Always was in a great mood. Never saw him without a smile! My prayers go out to the Glatter family during this difficult time. I know he is watching over all of you.

Kathy and Jackie,

We only met Eric twice--one of those times with both of you. I was so happy that it would be you who would live in our house after we moved. It seemed perfect for you, and I knew you'd all be so happy there. It breaks my heart to think of all that you should have had together, and all the happiness you deserved.

Eric was so visibly exuberant and content with you, and you with him. I pray that eventually you can find peace and hapiness again. And Jackie, hang on to that "American Girl" for as long as it takes. Most of all, hang onto your mom, and try to help each other get through this somehow.
We are so very sorry, and keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I cannot get Eric's positive energy and his contagious smile out of my head! I am tremendously shocked that God would take Eric so soon. I think that Billy Joel was right in his song "Only the Good Die Young".

Eric and I were friends at Capital Law School O so many eons ago. He was so warm, intelligent and fun and boasted a GREAT head of blonde hair. Even though I hadn't seen him since those days (and nights) at Victory's and the High Beck, I still thought of him often. He was just one of those people who left an impression.

Tragic, I was so shocked and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family of Eric Glatter, He was representing my Ex in a child custody suit, So I guess that would have made him opposing council. I feel that Eric was a upstanding citizen, and I was just so sad to here of his lose of life... In my heart I know Eric was doing his job while representing his client, but he was alway's a gentleman, and I appreciated that very much. I am just sorry that a young life had to be taken in such a tragic situation. My Prayers are with your family in this time of need. Again, I am saddened by your lose.

Dearest Kathy & Jackie:

I am so deeply saddened by your loss. Your loss is our loss. Eric was such a special person; very warm, kind and giving. I always enjoyed spending the holidays with you, Eric and your family. He was so helpful to me during my bankruptcy case.

A previous journal entry mentioned his smile. That is so true! He lit up the room with his smile and personality! Eric was filled with joy - I know he brought you and Jackie much happiness. I know, in time, that you will be able to think of and cherish the fond memories. I am here for....always. For now, take this time to heal.

I will never understand how or why something like this happens. The one and only thing I do know for sure, is that Eric loved the both of you.

As do I,

Love,

Claudia

Dear PearlieMae,
Icannot believe Sid and now Eric are gone. You know you and your family were always near to my heart. My memories of Eric and "Leesie" have been unforgettable, especially chasing Eric around Dr.Levitin's office for those allergy shots. And his brush with death when hit by that car. Iwas so afraid to visit him not knowing his pronosis. Pearl, my heart breaks for you and your family, I can't imagine your pain. I'll stop by to offer my condolences. All my heart-felt sympathy and love.
