August 7th is a day which we wish we could wipe out of our history. Life has a way of bringing on sadness and hurts that we wish we could change but God decided that it was your time and he is all knowing. We miss you so much and we love the memories of the times you were with us. We honor you and love you.

Today would have been your 47th Birthday and you have not been forgotten. Your legacy will be remembered by all who knew you. As your family, we knew you in a special way and knew that in spite of the bumps in the road, we knew that God had made someone special. Strong, Determined, and yet meek and humble. 10 years you have been gone. It's been a long 10 years.
We miss your laughter, your smile, your wit, and your personality but most of all we just miss you. If only, If only.... but our plan is not God's plan and when he called you home, we must trust that he knew what was best. Even though I wish we could have changed his mind...... you left us too soon.
Your son will be 18 in July and is now driving his own car and dating. The years have passed quickly, so quickly and soon we will rejoicing together again with God's mercy. We love you Eric and miss you and if they celebrate birthdays in Heaven, may your day be blessed.

Son, my heart grieves daily wanting to talk with you and wrap my arms around you once more. I cry often because you are no longer with us. Your memory will always be alive in our heart. I can't believe it has been almost 5 years and I still think of you everyday. It seems like there is always something in the day that brings you to mind. Today I went to vote and immediately thought of you. Right above my name was yours. It made me so proud that you accepted all that life has to give for fun and friendship as well as your civic responsibility to do your part. We miss you more than words can ever say. I just wanted to say that your first memorial ride was beautiful lil' buddy. It would have been better if you were there giving hugs and kisses but I know you were in all of hearts...I truly miss ya and there's not a day that goes by that I dont think about ya. I just wish that I could tell ya face to face that I love ya one more time and have one more of our talks again. My deepest sympathy to the Morrison family. I graduated with Eric at Westfall...and back then we called him Oey. I think that Eric actually came up with that name himself. It has been several years since I had seen him, but I am sure that he was still being the happy, fun guy he always was at school, on the bus and each and every time I would see him out and about after. He will be sadly missed.

We miss your smiling face and there is an emptiness that we can't explain now that you're not with us. You have been a son to be proud of as is your brother. Your legacy of many friends has made us so very proud. You have accomplished in 36 years what a lot of people could never do in a life time. You have touched many lives all across the U.S. with caring and sharing. We promise that we will care for Kyle and keep him safe until we meet again. My heart yearns to see you and your Dad and I cry daily. We want to wrap our arms around you, but for this moment in time, that is not possible. Your brother Chad was a warrior and is walking in his own footsteps but lifting up our family heritage of love and compassion for all mankind. There is a reason for everything and only God knows why. May he have mercy on your soul until we meet again. God Be With You Son and our prayers continue to be that in the quiet moments before you crossed over you had just enough time to see our Savior and asked for his loving embrace to walk you over to the next step of living. I would like to send my deepest symathy to Beth and the Morrison family. I met Eric a few years ago in Myrtle Beach during bike week with my friend Berti and a friend of hers named Dean "Deano" Wall. When we met we were all talking and Eric said his mom Beth lived down the street from me. What a small world as the conversation went on he told me she worked at Tosoh, well they are my customer and I knew Beth. A year later my husband and I bought a Harley and ran into Eric several times and he always had a smile on his face and wanted hugs.
I'm sorry I didn't learn about his death until Friday August 12th or I would have been there.
Again Beth I'm so sorry for your loss.

Eric was always unselfishly doing for others. He truly had a heart of gold and will be forever remembered for his kindness and of course, his contagious laugh. Obviously, Eric touched many lives and will be so missed. Eric's smile will live on in our hearts forever.

Eric was with me the night I met my wife. He probably helped break the ice. Whenever you would see him out somewhere he always had a smile or laugh on his face. Those are the things I remember most about him. A very good guy that will be missed by many. God Bless to all of his family.

Eric was a real special person with a great heart, he touched everyone he met, whether it was his witty personality or his ornery smile, he always left a lasting impression. He lived his life to the fullest, loved his family, friends and especially his son.

We met Eric about 4 years ago when we moved from Columbus, He was a really nice guy always laughing and keeping everyone in high hopes. Our son and his son played first year of tee ball together I'm really sorry for Kyle not to get the chance to see what a good guy his dad was. Tim had went hunting a few times with Eric and came home to tell me what a crazy time that was and how they do hunting totally different than he had ever done, but how Eric had kept everyone laughing. We had went on a few poker runs and ran into him laughing and being loud and crazy just having fun. We just saw him on 4th of July at bubba's on our way to Columbus and when he saw me he would say here comes trouble. I pass his house a couple times a week and would see him and wave, I wil never be able to pass that house again with out thinking of you Eric. My thoughts are with your family and Kyle.

To the Morrison Family with deepest sympathy. What a great loss. Eric was always full of laughs. When I first met Eric I knew that minute that no matter where he was he would always be the life of the party. My best memory of Eric was when we were part of our friends' wedding party and since we both were the shortest we walked down together. At the reception we danced with the whole wedding party. Well a few weeks later we watched the video and they had a shot of us just singing and dancing and really having a great time.
My thoughts and prayers go to his son during such a tragic loss.
I have not seen Eric in a few years but the times that we were all together I will never forget. May God Bless you all and make you strong during this very difficult time.

What a great person and great friend! Eric was very outgoing living each day without worries; I wish I knew how he did that. Eric was always the life of the party, always smiling and laughing. Who can forget his great smile, great looks, and great personality. I am so sorry Kyle will have to miss all the great qualities of his father as he grows up. May Eric’s family and friends keep Kyle full of memories and stories, so he will always know what a wonderful, likeable person his daddy was! God Bless the Morrison family in this horrible tragedy and may there be brighter days ahead. Eric will always have a special place in my heart. I love and miss you Eric! It was awful to hear that a cousin had passed at such a young age. News spread like wildfire through the Parsley reunion this weekend. All the more reason to remember why we get together each year. I am so saddened by the loss of someone who was able to touch so many lives & make us smile. Eric graduated from Westfall the year before me & we rode the same bus. We're so sorry to hear of the death of your family member. We didn't know Eric, but we were in traffic the night of the accident on I-70 and were praying for you. The next day we checked the Richmond news and found out about Eric's death. We continue to pray for your family as you get thru this day by day.

I am very sorry this had to happen to such a great guy. Eric and I were good friends I refered to him as my lil' buddy. Me and him had alot of good times together. My best memory of Eric is his smile and outgoing personality. No matter what was going on E always had something to make you smile and I am really going to miss that quality. E went up to anyone to start a conversation not caring about their looks, just to make them feel good about themselves, that is very hard to come by these days! The thoughts and prayers of my sons and I are with each one of you. "E" was a great guy who was always kept us laughing. He never grew tired of talking about Kyle and how he enjoyed his son.
