Mrs. D'Angelo and family

I am saddened with the knowledge that Ernie has passed away. I have always enjoyed being with him, and with you always by his side, at numerous Amateur Radio Emergency Service events. I will always regard him with fondness as I continue to recall our times together. He will always be the 'Original DJM' in Columbus,Ohio.

Anna Marie and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. He was a great guy - always with a smile and a corny joke. Those jokes helped put me at ease when he was taking photos of our wedding. He will be missed. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

My wife and I are both Hams and have worked many ARES Events with Ernie. Ernie has been to my home and has helped me to become a better Radio Operator. He was a GREAT man and we will sadly miss his always smiling face. My prayers go with the Family in their time of loss.
God Bless you all

Mary Ann, I am sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. We just lost our father also. I believe our dads would go to breakfast together. Now they can still keep up the tradition as they watch down on us. Hold on to the memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My father and Ernie worked for Coca-Cola and I drove route trucks for the company during my summers in college. One day of the week I would ride with Ernie as his helper. He was great to work with. I saw him at some of the Coke retiree functions in recent years when my dad was still well enough to come. I was sorry to read of his passing. My prayers are with you.

Sorry to heard of the event that is happening to your family.

I remember the days that we worked at the poles working side by side. And Ernie playing that Chicken Dance on the piano.
