Eugene Neff Obituary

NEFF Eugene L. "Gene" Neff, Jr., 58, of So. Bloomfield, OH., passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007, at Berger Hospital, Circleville. Born October 9, 1949, at Circleville to Eugene L. Sr. and Ruth George Neff. Before retiring he work for JC Penney Co. in Data Processing, a graduate of Franklin University and Ashville High School. Gene was an avid golfer and enjoyed meeting with his co-workers car club, also was well known and for sending Hallmark cards. Preceded in death by father, brother Michael Neff, aunt Darlene Fout. Survived by mother, Ruth Neff, Mt. Sterling; daughter, Mellisa (Jeff) Threlfall, Westerville; son, Mark (Sarah) Williams, Columbus; mother of his children, Patricia Neff, Columbus; sister, Joyce (Harold) Seymour, Mt. Sterling; aunt, Shirley Rhymer, Gahanna; grandchildren, Jordon, Zoe, Ava; special cousins, Darla Fout Rossiter, Dustin Winter, both of Ashville; numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call on Saturday, December 8th from 10 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. in the South Bloomfield United Methodist Church, 5027 West Second St., South Bloomfield with Pastor Floyd Hubbell officiating. Family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntington's Disease Society, Central Ohio Chapter, 490 City Park Ave., Suite C, Columbus, Ohio 43215 or So. Bloomfield U.M.
