Evelyn K. Grafflin

GRAFFLIN Evelyn K. Grafflin, age 97, of Columbus, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Retired bookkeeper after many years of service with B&A Paint. Preceded in death by husband Don P. Grafflin; parents, Calvin and Martha Kocher; and brothers, Harold and Bill Kocher. Survived by her loving family: son, William (Janet) Grafflin, Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Beth (Tom) Adams, Collegeville, PA, Gordon (Michelle) Grafflin, Loveland, OH, and Andrew (Dianna) Grafflin, Pleasant Hill, OH; great-grandchildren, Kate and Margaret Adams, Chase and Drew Grafflin, Maxwell and Madison Grafflin. Graduate of North H.S. and Ohio University. Past member of Japanese-American Club and long time worker for the Columbus International Festival. She and her husband were the first residents of Claremont Village. Evelyn was an avid bowler participating into her 90's. Memorial Service 4 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2005 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Rev. Michael Petty officiating.
