I recall Evelyn knitting and selling mittens at the Gahanna Flea Market years ago. She had a warm smile. Herb is a dear friend of many years. Jack and I extend our warmest thoughts at this time of loss.

I met Evelyn many years ago on a trip to Santa Fe, NM. She quickly became one of my favorite people. Until recently, Evelyn, Nancy (who was also on this trip), and I had lunch regularly. I always looked forward to spending time with her because of her wit, wisdom, spirit, intelligence, generosity, and kindness. I miss her and will remember her with love. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Robyn, Merrill, Herb,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. She was a remarkable lady. And she truly was a lady. I still remember the first time we met her and how gracious and friendly she was. For several years she came to Westerville to set up booths to sell her mittens (my kids still have them!) She really was remarkable.

Herb, Robyn, Sara and Amy and families:

Evelyn was a very special woman to us at the Farm. She was always spry, witty and quick to make you laugh. I loved the times she'd come and visit. She was always trying to marry one of us off to Herb.

She was a dear one. Sharing her talents so others could benefit from the proceeds. Crocheting all those mittens over that many years was a wonderful gift.

I hope her love and memory will be cherished more and more each day.

Thank you for sharing Evelyn with us.
