To Mrs. Beard,
God bless you on your heavenly trip. Your husband, Eddie, was a friend and I remember when we had the premier of our book, Listen For the Jazz: Keynotes in Columbus History. After his passing, you gave me a photograph of Archie "Stomp" Gordon, a favorite pianist.

Clarke, The Taylor Family is sorry for your loss. The two families have been friend since you were a very little boy. Your mother is like part of our family. She's in a better place where she don't have to suffer anymore. May she rest in peace.
