Sis Faith Cook was always such a beautiful lady and a godly example. When I talked to her a few years ago, she was so gracious when I reminded her of memories that were from the 1950 era - she seemed to have such a good spirit besides her outward beauty.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Sis Cook. If I ever knew a great woman of Pentecost, it was her. I will never forget the times after I came into the church that she and Bro Cook gave me rides to church and events. She is truely a great example of what we need to be to each other. I pray that God will give you all peace and strength as you go through this time. I love the scripture that says "absent from the body is present with the Lord" Will be praying for you all in the weeks to come.

I am so sorry to hear of Faith's passing, and wish I could be there with all of you. Greg is there by now, and will tell me all about the funeral.
God has a time for a ll of us to go, and this is what we are preparing for--she is at rest. I remember the great time we all had at Myrtle's house in Florida, the last time we were all together.

Elder Cook, Pastor Cook and Family… words cannot express the hurt we feel as a church family! Mother Cook was a very beautiful person and will be sorely missed! We will continue to keep each and everyone of you lifted up in prayer as we do every day. Sis. Cook will always be remembered. The first lady of our church for many years. Her appearance and standards in Holiness was unquestionable and of the highest standards. She was the monarchy for the rest of the women at the church and a pillar in the UPCI, United Penetcostal Church International. Our prayers go to Sr. Cook, and his family. God bless the entire Cook Family and comfort them , this is my prayer.

A kind, understanding, graceful lady that I truly appreciated. Recently, while sharing moments of Truth with my son, Eric Wayne McMillion, asked a question, and immediately my mind went back to when Sister Cook, as she was addressed, was my Sunday School teacher, she shared with us a scripture recorded in the Book of Acts 3:19 "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;". Truth, no matter how many years go by, will always stand the test of time. The seed that she planted in that one sunday school class on Lockbourne Rd, Columbus, Ohio, I was able to pass on to my son and witnessed the enlightment he received as it answered his question. I am so glad, Sister Faith Cook, remained steadfast even to the end.

Bishop, Pastor, and Sister Julie I am so deeply saddened to hear about Sister Faith. I spoke with her not long ago and she was an inspiration to me.
