Forrest Schlegler Obituary

Schlegler Forrest E. Schlegler, 90, of Circleville, died November 10, 2013 after a short battle with melanoma at Brown Memorial. He was born on February 5, 1923 in Pickaway County. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, retired from DuPont and member of Circleville Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law Leland and Helen Schlegler; and son-in-law Timothy Brown. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joanne (Dumm) Schlegler; daughters, Suzanne Brown, Sally (Phil Roll) Schlegler and Stacey (Patrick) Quinn; grandchildren, Brenton and Betsey Brown and Kelsey, Courtney and Connor Quinn; and great grandchildren, Aiden and Melanie Brown. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday November 15, 2013 at the Circleville Presbyterian Church with Pastor Troy Braswell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the WELLMAN FUNERAL HOME, CIRCLEVILLE. Memorial contributions may be made to Circleville Presbyterian Church, 134 E. Mound, Brown Memorial Home, 158 E. Mound or Berger Hospice, 1170 N. Court Circleville, OH 43113.
