Francis Gill Obituary

GILL Francis Kilpatrick "Pat" Gill, age 78, of Dublin, died Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Pat was a graduate of the Virginia Episcopal School and Duke University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from the Human Resources Department of Nationwide Insurance Company in the early 1970's. He also worked in Medical Records at The Ohio State University Medical Center, retiring in 2004. He was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church and recently became a member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church. He was a fan of Big Band Music and Swing Dancing. His son, Francis K. "Chip" Gill, Jr. precedes him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Nanci Gill (Charles, III) Barnhart and her children, Jennifer Barnhart (Taylor) Rye and Charles "Chip" Barnhart, IV, all of Lexington, KY; son, Stephen (Lucille) Gill and his son, Christopher Gill, all of Columbus; special friend, Nancy Bonecutter of Washington Court House. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2005 at UALC, The Church at Mill Run, 3500 Mill Run Drive, where friends will be received immediately following the service. Interment will take place at Raleigh Memorial Park, Raleigh, NC. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220 in his memory.
