Founder of Golan Sales Associates, Incorporated, Columbus, Oh. Chairman of the Board of Prime Home Mortgage, Inc., St. Augustine, Fla. Member Scioto Country Club, Columbus, Oh., The Athletic Club of Columbus, Oh., Spruce Creek Country Club, Port Orange, Fla., VFW Post 3282, the University of Nebraska Varsity N Club, Northwestern University N Mens Club, The Ohio State University Presidents Club, Sigma Chi Fraternity. Graduated from the University of Nebraska. Veteran of the United States Army. Survived by wife of 57 years, Barbara Golan; children, Fred Golan (Anne Kenney), Los Angeles, Calif., Stephanie (Alan) Dean, Scarsdale, N.Y., Leslie Anne Golan, Columbus, Oh., Mary Sue Golan (Jeff Griffith), Columbus, Oh., Virginia Golan-Elliott (Ralph Elliott), Milford Center, Oh., Robert (Victoria) Golan, Cleveland, Tenn.; brother, Leonard S. (Eileen) Golan, Lake Forest, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, June 30, 2007, at Spruce Creek Country Club, Port Orange, Fla.
