Gary Windisch Obituary

WINDISCH Gary L. Windisch, 57, of Gahanna, OH, formerly of Sandusky, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 8, 2008, at the Village of Westerville Nursing Center, Westerville, OH after a brief illness. He was born in Sandusky on October 23, 1950. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1968 and later graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology with a degree in Engineering Technology. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War. Gary retired in October 2007 from N.C.R. where he had worked for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Bonnie L. (Christian) Windisch; two sons, Adam (Sarah) Windisch, Jason Windisch, both of Gahanna, OH; brother, David Windisch of Sandusky; two sisters, Mary McKillips and Donna Weaver, both of Sandusky; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Otto and Dorothy (Ohlemacher) Windisch, sister Carol Darling, brother Bobby Windisch. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning, July 10, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the DAVID F. KOCH FUNERQL HOME, 520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky. A graveside service will be held following visitation at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky. Contributions may be made to One's Favorite Charity. Sign the online guestbook at www.dispatch.com/obituaries
